Youth
(Ages 13-17)
During the weeklong camp, Loving Neighbors youth participants work at selected home sites. Youth in teams of 10-13 perform home repairs with the help of an adult foreman and home supervisors. Children are often amazed at the new skills they've learned, which helps to increase their sense of self-worth.
At the end of each workday, participants are transported back to a local host church for an evening of fun, fellowship, and worship. Girls and boys will have separate sleeping quarters with adult supervision. Camp is held at The Garden United Methodist Church in Norfolk.
